Kellogg’s Introduces “All Together Cereal” for LGBTQ Campaign

Kellogg’s cereal is recognizable around the world. There is a wide variety of flavors and types of cereal. Many of them are marketed directly to children and have positive, encouraging mascots for kids to like. Due to their popularity, Kellogg’s sometimes joins with other companies or organizations in order to promote helpful campaigns or causes that affect large groups of people.

Kellogg’s latest creation is the All Together cereal, which is a mix of popular Kellogg’s cereals like Frosted Flakes, Fruit Loops, Rice Krispies and more. There are six different Kellogg’s cereals in each box of All Together cereal. The cereal which was first introduced back in 2018, but was only available in New York City for a short period.

Now, the All Together cereal is making a comeback in 2019 for Spirit Day, which is October 17, 2019. The day is always observed on the third Thursday in October, as a way to join against bullying. The retail price for this All together cereal is twenty dollars a box, and is available from Kellogg’s website.


In a press release, John McCourt, senior director of development and integrated marketing at GLAAD, said, “The All Together cereal encompasses the values of diversity, equality, and solidarity that Spirit Day is all about, and we hope that LGBTQ youth everywhere receive the messages loud and clear.”

The many different cereals inside the All Together cereal are Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, Rice Krispies, Rasin Bran, Frosted Mini-Wheats and Corn Flakes. In addition, and keeping with the theme, all of the mascots from each individual cereal like Tony the Tiger, Toucan Sam, Snap, Crackle and Pop are also shown on the box together, smiling hand in hand. The cereal box is also a dark purple color, which is also the color of unity and loyalty.
