With the summer temperatures breaking records across the country, more and more people are indulging in their favorite desserts like ice cream. Dairy Queen is a well-known ice cream restaurant in the United States, which specializes in ice cream milkshakes called Blizzards, which include all types of ice cream flavors and toppings.
In addition to popular flavors like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, Oreo and many more, the ice cream chain introduces new Blizzard flavors each month. These limited edition Blizzards tend to follow food trends, commemerate special occasions and combine outrageous flavors together. This month’s new Blizzard flavor is a kid-friendly concoction with a sugary sweetness.
A new month means a new Dairy Queen blizzard flavor. And this July, the new flavor is the Sour Patch Kids Blizzard, which will be available in all sizes and at all participating locations. The new concoction has a raspberry flavored soft serve base. The dessert is sprinkled with bits of different Sour Patch Kids throughout, so it looks a bit like a rainbow in a cup.
In addition to Sour Patch Kids, the well-known ice cream chain has a number of other limited edition Blizzard flavors. Some other choices that customers can expect are Oreo Cookie Jar, Brownie Dough, Summer Berry Cheesecake, Caramel Cannonball, S’mores, and Cotton Candy Blizzards. A retail price for this new Blizzard has not been announced.
